This notebook describes the basic concepts of organic chemistry nomenclature with numerous examples and supporting videos. The rules for naming organic molecules are listed in the IUPAC Blue Book. In its section B we will find the Hantzsch-Widman system for the nomenclature of heterocycles, section A contains the Von Baeyer system for the nomenclature of bicyclic systems and section C the rules of nomenclature by substitution, radicofunctional and replacement.
