amine differentiation 13 years 4 months before #875

1. How could you tell an aromatic amine from a non-aromatic amine?
2. Among the non-aromatic amines, how are primary, secondary and tertiary amines differentiated in the laboratory? Please, I
want you to tell me evidence that the person who is going to answer me has already done so in the laboratory.

Hi, Aliphatic, primary, secondary and tertiary amines can be distinguished with the nitrosation reaction (amine reaction with sodium nitrite in hydrochloric acid).

The products obtained depend on the type of amine. If you need to do it in the laboratory, it is easy to get a script on the net, since it is a common practice in many faculties.
