Hi, Aliphatic, primary, secondary and tertiary amines can be distinguished with the nitrosation reaction (amine reaction with sodium nitrite in hydrochloric acid).
The products obtained depend on the type of amine. If you need to do it in the laboratory, it is easy to get a script on the net, since it is a common practice in many faculties.
