Hello everyone... I have a very important question because it does not allow me to start doing the exercise of naming the R or S enantiomers . If you ask me to name the enantiomers of 1-phenyl-1-chloroethane , how should I do the structure at the beginning? That is to say, I know how to make the structure, and I know how to locate the priorities afterwards, but in Carbon 1 I could put the H to the right, or to the left, or to the bottom, for example. The same with the phenyl group and with the halogen. What is best for me to start? I hope you have understood the query, thank you very much!
