Hello everyone, I do not understand a question why it is considered a plane of symmetry if it does not really divide the molecule into equal parts, since the discontinuous wedge would deviate it from the plane and therefore opposite sides of the plane would not find the other half of that substituent THANKS !!

Hello, notice that that plane is perpendicular to the ring and it cuts the substituents in half. You must not confuse the plane that contains the ring, which is actually not symmetrical, with the plane shown there.
