Rule 1. Amines can be named as derivatives of alkylamines or alkanoamines. Let's see some examples.

Rule 2. If a radical is repeated several times, it is indicated with the prefixes di-, tri-,...
If the amine has different radicals, they are named alphabetically.

Rule 3. The substituents attached directly to nitrogen carry the locant N. If there are two substituted amino groups in the molecule, N,N' is used.

Rule 4. When the amine is not the functional group, it is renamed amino-. Most of the functional groups have priority over the amine (acids and derivatives, carbonyls, alcohols)
